Quarterly News Letter – July 2006
The next Quarterly meeting will be held at the Diamond Point Fire House on Saturday July 15th at 9:00 am, all members are invited and encouraged to attend - we would like to have a quorum for this meeting. The completion of the drainage improvement will be discussed; currently, the channel has been dug out ready for installation of the drainage pipe and rock.
We would also like to discuss the status of the plan by SAPOA to select and install a new Board at the July 22nd meeting. Your Board encourages DPAA Members to be present and supportive at the July meeting.
Upcoming events for the Summer include Airport Day, set for August 12th. To clean up the airport, an airport “Work Day” is scheduled for August 5th. Donations for the raffle for Airport Appreciation Day are needed: any items you may have two of, airplane rides, valuable items you do not use anymore, would be appreciated. The third Quarterly meeting will be held on October 21st. Board Meetings, which all members are welcome to attend, are held the first Thursday of each month at 7pm at the Fire House. In the event Special Board Meetings are needed, or there are changes in regular meetings, we will post them on the SAPOA Notice Board and the DPAA Website at:
