The next Quarterly Meeting will be held at the Diamond Point Fire House on Saturday January 19 at 9:00 a.m.. All members are encouraged to attend.
Airport Drainage Project- Completed! Review of project
Annual elections – Included with this newsletter is your ballot to vote to fill three open positions on the 2008 DPAA Board. Votes will be counted at the January 19th meeting. At the October 2007 Quarterly Meeting a motion carried to change the term of office for the Vice President of DPAA Board of Directors to one year. This term length change will be in effect for the January 2008 election for one year only to establish staggered terms for the President and Vice President. The nominating committee presented the current members to stand for re-election. There were no nominations from the floor. Accordingly, the slate of candidates for Officers/Board Members and their respective terms on the enclosed 2008 ballot is:
President - 2 year term Ernie Hansen
Vice President - 1 year term Don Verstrate
Board Member -3 year term Gary Eklund
Please note that the Proposed 2008 Budget is printed on the back of this newsletter. Be sure to review and vote on it’s approval along with your vote on open Board Positions. Don’t forget to Return Your Ballot by Jan 19th
· DPAA Regular & Associate Dues $20.00/yr. payable by Jan. 1 of each year.
Airport User Fees for 2008 are payable in advance on an annual or calendar quarter basis for the amounts listed below:
Regular Members Associate Members
$360/yr paid annually or $420/yr paid annually or
$100/qtr paid quarterly $115/qtr paid quarterly

Our 2008 Quarterly Meeting Schedule has been determined:

Board Meetings, which all members are welcome to attend, are held the first Thursday of each month at 7 pm at the Fire House. In the event Special Board Meetings are needed, or there are changes in regular meetings, we will post them on the SAPOA Notice Board and the DPAA Website at: http://www.sapoasequim.com/DPAA/default.htm
