The next Quarterly meeting will be held at the Diamond Point Fire House on Saturday April 19 at 9:00 a.m. and you, as a member are invited and encouraged to attend. We would like to have a quorum for voting.

Airport Appreciation Day 2008 Tentative date August 2. We have shirts with our new DPAA Logo. Gordon Tubesing is handling sales – Great Prices.
· Annual Elections – Thank you to the 47 members who retuned your ballot to vote on the 2008 DPAA Board’s open positions. Votes were counted at the January 19th meeting. As expected the Officers/Board member candidates, all three committing to continue on in their current positions were approved by you as was the 2008 Budget.
President - 2 year term Ernie Hansen
Vice President - 1 year term Don Verstrate
Board Member -3 year term Gary Eklund
Ernie, Don, and Gary as well as the rest of the DPAA Board, names and phone numbers are listed on the side margin of this newsletter. Don’t hesitate to call any one of us if you have questions, concerns, and of course, praise is always welcome. We want your input.
75% return of ballots is great but next time let’s make it closer to 100%.
DPAA Reg. & Assoc. Dues of $20.00/yr. were payable by Jan. 1.
And to our active pilots, don’t forget: Airport User Fees are payable in advance. A number of you have paid for the year in advance, a few paid partial terms. Those of you not current with your membership, be it Dues or User Fees, please take care of it soon so Liz can save DPAA time and money on Payment Due reminders. Thanks.
· A Reminder. Emergency Preparedness Siren sounds at 9:00 A.M. the first Tuesday of every month –Diamond Point Fire House
Board Meetings, which all members are welcome to attend, are held the first Thursday of each month at 7 pm at the Fire House. In the event Special Board Meetings are needed, or there are changes in regular meetings, we will post them on the SAPOA Notice Board and the DPAA Website at: http://www.sapoasequim.com/DPAA/default.htm
