MINUTES

SAPOA BOARD M EETING MARCH 18, 2007

Diamond Point Firehouse

 

 

 

The Board Meeting was called to order by President Gary Getch, at 2:02 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2007, at the Diamond Point Fire Station. All board members were present: Gary Getch, Jim Wilson, Annemarie Montera, Marty Tipton, Keith DeStefano, Barry Olson and Ben Schrenzel. There were approximately 10 members of the Association in attendance as well.

 

 

Gary introduced the board members including the new secretary, Marty Tipton.

 

 

Minutes:

 

Minutes of the last two board meetings were presented for approval. The members of the board and those members in attendance took a few minutes to read the minutes. The first set of board meeting minutes were for the board meeting held on January 14, 2007. The president asked if there were any corrections to the minutes. No changes were suggested. Motion made by Annemarie Montera, seconded, no discussion, minutes approved. The minutes for the special board meeting held on February 6, 2007, were presented to the board and those in attendance. Gary asked if there were any corrections. No corrections noted. Motion made by Jim Wilson, seconded, no discussion, minutes approved.

 

 

Treasurers Report:

 

Treasurers report presented by Annemarie Montera. See attached report. Discussion regarding Penny Quarry Rock and seeding amounts being part of an amount from six months ago. That is correct. Further discussion re the detention pond cap. The pond fund is capped at $5,000 but its only $500 per budgeted year, it accumulates over time. The budget shows $500 a year; whatever we dont use is put into that fund, but it cant go over $5,000. Weve accumulated $4,000 over time. Thats the same as the MBR when we have to
