Carcass removal volunteer takes California job

SEQUIM - Eastern Clal­lam County residents no longer can call the volunteer who removed animal carcasses and injured animals from public and private property.  Mike Love has left to take a new job in Northern California.  Beginning today, November 11, 2005, people who see dead or injured animals. should call:

 

Clallam County Humane Society, 360-457-8206, for dogs or cats (normal business hours).

 

The Northwest Raptor Center, 360-681-2283, for dead or injured deer (24 hours, seven days a week).

 

The appropriate police, department or the Clallam County Sheriff, depending on jurisdiction, at the business numbers listed in the front of the telephone directory (normal business hours).
